TACA holds monthly meetings in many locations throughout the United States that feature educational speakers on important topics and allow family members to connect with one another and stay on top of the latest information in the autism world. Each TACA group maintains a resource library of the latest autism books and tapes that can be checked out by members at no charge.

Special Diets Special Diets can be an important building block for further healing. We will help you understand how to implement a special diet over several weeks, which foods to avoid, which ingredients to avoid, how to check labels, how to leave home on a special diet and share success stories. We will focus on implementing the GFCF diet but also give information on SCD which both presenters have used for their children. Janice and Jalene will share their experience and knowledge as mothers of children affected by autism, food allergies and intolerances. Both of these mothers will agree that diet has played a significant role in in helping their children get closer to recovery. Janice is a mother to four children, one with Autism. She has been on this journey of helping her son recover from autism for 5 years. Jalene, also a mother to four children, one with Autism, has been working toward recovery for 3 years. |
